Mint Magharita Recipe (Non-alcoholic)

This Mint Magharita is a refreshing summer drink popular in restaurants all over Pakistan, and it’s not only super easy to make, it’s also really good for you!

Ingredients

Mint leaves ¼ cup

Sugar 5 tbsp.

Salt 1 tsp.

Black Rock Salt – ¼ tsp.

Lemon juice – ¼ cup

Water 1 litre

Ice 250 gm

Method

  1. Clean and pick mint leaves of off the stems. Blend them with a bit of water and measure out ¼ cup of this paste.
  2. Add the lemon juice, sugar, salt, and black salt into a jug with 1 cup of water out of the litre, and mix until dissolved. 
  3. Add the remaining water, and the mint paste as well as the ice (you can crush it or add it whole). 
  4. Serve fresh and cool.
