This Mint Magharita is a refreshing summer drink popular in restaurants all over Pakistan, and it’s not only super easy to make, it’s also really good for you!
Ingredients
Mint leaves ¼ cup
Sugar 5 tbsp.
Salt 1 tsp.
Black Rock Salt – ¼ tsp.
Lemon juice – ¼ cup
Water 1 litre
Ice 250 gm
Method
- Clean and pick mint leaves of off the stems. Blend them with a bit of water and measure out ¼ cup of this paste.
- Add the lemon juice, sugar, salt, and black salt into a jug with 1 cup of water out of the litre, and mix until dissolved.
- Add the remaining water, and the mint paste as well as the ice (you can crush it or add it whole).
- Serve fresh and cool.
