Eid al Fitr 2026 Mubarak! Greetings to all

Hi all! Another year, another Eid. As most of you know, it is a festival of celebration and gratefulness for Muslims. After a month of fasting during Ramadan, Muslims celebrate Eid as a day of joy, and community.

This year has been a strenuous one, with stresses and problems galore, but for us, this day is still a day for thankfulness and gratitude. To all our readers and followers, we hope you have a brilliant Eid and your life gets happier and easier from now on. To all, we wish ease, delights and happy smiles. Our well wishes are with you.

In the same vein, on this Eid Al Fitr 2026, I’d like to share a poem I wrote recently, praising the Almighty.

Oh, when to praise you, my Lord
When the sun sinks into an orange sea,
Clouds caress the tips of verdant mountains,
And all the world takes a breath in sync...

When ashes rain from dormant veins,
And torrents of water besiege the earth,
The stones shake in their homes of mud,
And topple down to drown the unwary in flood...

When wisps of mist caress the chin,
And morning light interrupts the dim,
When shadows fall like lace on skin,
And flower buds kiss branches of old quincin...

Oh, when to speak thy name, my Lord
When life rushes by in dreams of sin...

- Daima Hussain

Once again, thank you for reading and happy Eid!
