Traditional Kanji Recipe

Kanji is a traditional probiotic drink, that regulates your gut, and is overall refreshing and energizing.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 beetroot
  • 9-10 litre of water
  • 1 tsp Rai
  • 2.5 kg carrots

Instructions

  1. Cut the carrots and beetroot into 3 inch batons.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a 12 litre bottle.
  3. Let sit for a week, shaking every 4 hours.
  4. Strain the vegetables and discard.
  5. Serve at room temperature and enjoy Kanji.
