These Motichoor ladoo are easy to make at home. Only a few ingredients and this unbelievably tasty recipe is ready. The main ingredients are gram flour and sugar. You can prepare Motichoor laddu anytime you want as you just need a few simple ingredients to nail this delicious dessert.

Ingredients for Motichoor Ladoo
- 2 1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
- 3 cup ghee
- 2 pinch baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder
- 3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon edible food color
- 2 cup water
Method
- To make Motichoor Ladoo at home, take a large bowl to add 2 1/2 cups of gram flour, then add orange colour and mix it well. Add 2 cups of water 2 pinches of baking soda. Mix it so that it attains a perfect consistency. The batter is ready for frying.
- Take a large deep frying pan or use a voke. Pour 3 cups of ghee and put it on high flame. Remember this tip.
- Pour the batter in ghee like we make the pakoras.
- Cook on high heat and take them out before they change colours. Use a paper towel so that there is no extra ghee.
- Let these pakoras cool down and then use a blender to blend them but do not blend too much.
- Now in a pan add 2 cups of water and three cups of sugar.
- Allow this to cook until we get the consistency of 2 threads. Add cardamom powder. The people who use a cooking thermometer they should allow the temperature reach to 226 degrees Celsius.
- Now add the blended besan, into the pan and mix it thoroughly with a ladle. Turn the fire off and leave it to cool.
- Grease your hands with a little ghee and start shaping the ladoos. Place them in an open tray and garnish with some crushed nuts and indulge in the goodness.
- Serve when cool.
Tip
You can add some crushed pistachios or slivered almonds to the ladoos to enhance their taste.
