Qeema Bhari Shimla Mirch Recipe i.e. Mincemeat stuffed Capsicum
Pakistani people are fond of spicy food specially minced meat recipes are their favorite. Today we are sharing a recipe which is not very common but liked by many people.
Ingredients
Capsicums 3-4 large
Beef mince 1/2 kg
Oil ½ cup
Water ½ liter
Onion sliced 3
Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
Red chili powder 1tbsp
Cumin powder 1tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Tomatoes chopped 3 (medium)
All spice powder 1 tsp
Method
Put minced meat, onion, tomatoes , red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric , salt, in a pressure cooker and add ½ a liter of water. Close the cooker and put it on medium heat. When the whistle blows cook for 15 minutes.
Now open the pressure cooker and cook until it is dry, now add all spice powder, mix for one or two minutes. The stuffing is ready now
Cut the top of each capsicum, remove seeds and white part. Stuff hollow capsicum with mince and set aside.
Now in a broad pan place stuffed capsicum, add oil , cover and cook for 10-15 minutes on low flame. It is best when served hot.
You can refrigerate if need be but when you serve it put it in microwave as it is much better when served hot.
