Chicken is usually eaten all over the world. In Pakistan, different recipes are used to make delicious dishes. We have already shared some of them in our posts. Today we are sharing a White Chicken Qorma recipe which everyone will like and try.
Ingredients for White Chicken Qorma
Chicken ½ Kgs
Oil or ghee 100 grams
Cream 50 grams
Yogurt 50 grams
Onion 1 large
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Ginger paste 1 tsp
White pepper ½ tsp
Almonds 11 peeled
Salt ¾ tsp
Water 1 cup
Method for White Chicken Qorma
- Clean and wash the chicken;
- Peel the onions and after cutting in round shape make a paste in the grinder;
- After that mix garlic and ginger paste with onion paste and mix well;
- Soak the almonds in water overnight and after peeling make a paste in a grinder by adding 1 table spoon of water;
- When all these things are ready put a cooking pan on medium heat and add oil or ghee;
- Let it heat for 30 seconds and then add the onion, garlic and ginger paste ;
- Add salt and white pepper;
- Stir with a cooking spoon and keep stirring until it is light brown;
- Now add chicken and sauté for three minutes on medium heat, if there is still water in it then cook for two more minutes;
- When chicken is light brown add cream, yogurt and almond paste and let it cook for 1 minute;
- Now add 1 cup of water and let it cook for 15 minutes on low heat so that the chicken becomes tender;
- The chicken will be ready after 15 minutes, but if you feel it is watery then dry it on medium heat;
- The delicious White Chicken Qorma is ready, serve it with flat bread or nan, whichever you like;
