BTS: Love Yourself Book Tag

Hi Everyone! I’m back with another book tag. I was just browsing through WordPress when I stumbled upon this BTS: Love Yourself Book Tag on Kayla @ Books and Blends. As you probably know by now I am a big fan of K-pop; especially BTS, who are my absolute favourite group in the world.

This BTS: Love Yourself Book Tag was created by Jess, who I’d like to thank for such a brilliant idea!

Rules for the BTS: Love Yourself Book Tag:

  • Tag  @beaucoupbooks in your post so she can see!
  • Feel free to use the graphics below.
  • Tag at least one other person to do this tag but really, you don’t need to be tagged to do this post, anyone can.

DNA: The Novel that Started your love for books.

Okay, so, for me this is a tricky one, since I started reading avidly since third grade and, for a while there my skills were not up to novel reading so I stuck to Enid Blyton story books, then moved on to Harry Potter book one. So Enid Blyton got me started, but Harry Potter made me hooked.

Mic Drop: A Popular Novel that deserves the hype that it gets.

Hmm… My mind seems to keep remembering books that were the opposite of this, or Harry Potter, but I am making a conscious effort not to reply just with Harry Potter to every question in this BTS: Love Yourself Book Tag so… The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien.

Fake Love: A book or character you used to love but now dislike.

This one for me is The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot. I used to love these books as a 13 year old, however, now they seem very whiny and kind of silly.

Let Go: A book Series you were sad to see end.

This is most definitely The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Not only did this ending wrench my heart, but I was left feeling a longing to see a better future for that world and its characters.

Euphoria: A Novel that makes you feel Nostalgic.

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis. This was one of the books me and my brother each had separate copies of, so that we wouldn’t fight over who gets to read it first.

Singularity: A book character that helped you through a bad time in your life.

Again, my mind keeps going to Harry Potter, since that book has at times been my literal comfort blanky. But for the sake of this BTS: Love Yourself Book Tag, I will say Something Wonderful by Judith McNaught. This book’s sweet romance helped me keep my sanity through my wilder teen years.

Epiphany: A book or character that made you realise something about yourself.

This one is Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell. This book is a masterpiece by all standards and it made me realise that I want to write.

Thanks, I am a big fan fan of BTS, so when I saw this tag, I just couldn’t resist. I saw in your post that your bias is Jimin, mine is Jin foremost, however I Stan all of them, but lately Kookie has been bias wrecking me so hard, did you see him in the Japan version of Airplane part 2?

  2. Awesome. My daughter is in love with BTS.
