Stuck at Home Book Tag

Hey, everyone, I found this book tag at ThePerksofBeingNoura’s blog. Loved the questions and also I needed something stress free to write up so here it is.

What are you currently reading?

I’m currently taking a break from traditional literature and deep diving into Manga again (a long time love of mine). The current Manga I’m reading is Shen Yi Ni Du: The Divine Doctor. It’s a pretty good one so far, the story is Isekai into the ancient/fantasy empire of Dashun.

What’s your favorite ‘can’t leave the house’ activity?

Binge-watching with zero interruptions, so far I’ve finished watching “The Witcher”, “GOT” and “Veronica Mars”.

A book you’ve been meaning to read forever?

Ok, I’ve wanted to read The Hitchhikers’ Guide To The Galaxy for about three years now, but somehow I always manage to find something else to read first.

An intimidating book on your tbr?

The Malazan Book of the Fallen

I love high fantasy and epic fantasy, however, these are a bit intimidating to start on, and they are so long and with so many sequels. Also, I’ve heard that it doesn’t get really good until the middle of the second book, and that seems kind of exhausting, I’m not in the mood for it, I want something easier. For this question of the book tag The Malazan Book of the Fallen, by Steven Erickson is my answer.

Top three priority books on your tbr?

Right now, I’m on a Novel break so I’ve been meaning to read the following manga’s:

Kingdom, Cheating Men Must Die and reread Red River.

Recommend a short book?

For those who like me are Historical romance fanatics: try this short and sweet book by Meg Cabot, not as authentic, but definitely cheeky.

Recommend a long book?

Okay, I’ve already recommended The Hour of Gann once, so this time, how about something more young and fun like The Graceling by Kristin Cashore.

Something you’d love to do while stuck at home?

Bake a huge cake, but I’m on a diet so it’s not happening.

What do you plan on reading next?

I plan on reading The manga Kingdom next.

Tagging

I’m tagging anyone who wants to do the tag, as I wasn’t tagged in the first place and just muscled my way in.
